PRESIDENT JONATHAN AND HIS WIFE IN A MERRY MOMENT

To be president of Nigeria for just one day could not be easy to achieve, because leadership is not "a tea party".
But one thing that you need to know about Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is that he is never worried over anything and this is because of his absolute confidence in God.
Apart from being a good leader of the largest African nation Nigeria, with all the challenges, he still was not failing on his duties to his immediate family.
He gave time to his beautiful wife Dame Patience Jonathan, mother of Nigeria and of Africa, the Mother of Peace, popularly called, "Mama Peace". The photo you see here is a testimony of  the love, joy and peace of the Goodluck Jonathan family which was the magic wand the husband and wife used to lead Nigeria to safe landing, no matter the drums and songs of war. Today, May 29th 2015, is the day you are handing over Nigeria into the hands of General Muhammadu Buhari safe and peaceful. And as we prepare to receive you back home, we say; CONGRATULATIONS!

BAYELSANS LOOK FORWARD TO HITCH FREE GUBER RACE

The people of Bayelsa State are now curiously waiting for a most unpredictable govrrnorship poll in the state. This may not be unconnrcted with change of government that occured at the federal level with the success of the opposition, the APC sweeping asside the PDP at the presidency and majority seats in the Senate and the house of representatives. The only known contender for now is the State governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson who is gunning for a second tenure ticket.
But there are strong indications that some Abuja based politicians, comprising, some senators, members of the house of representatives and other political big wigs of both the PDP, APC, LP and APGA amongst others are in top preparations to open their campaign offices to wrestle Dickson on the governorship poll.
According to Golden Pen  Abuja correspondent, the PDP itself at the national secretariat is not ready to come out with a sole candidate option to skip a party primay to have the incumbet, Governor Dickson emerge as the party's candidate, but is bent on organising a party primary. This confirms that, the factionalised PDP in the state will shake the Bayelsa to its foundation, to finally arrive at who should be the csndidate of the party.
Should govetnor Dickson emerge, the second option is to present a credible candidate of the APC to battle Dickson at the campaign with a view to leading Bayelsa out of opposition at the national level by installing an APC governor.
Our correspondent said that, a credible candidate of Epie origin has been considered to succeed Dickson.

But at his monthly transparency briefing, held on the 22nd of May, Governor Seriake Dickson stated that he and his team  of supporters are ready for any opposition.

GREAT MEN OF HISTORY: N10BN INTERNATIONAL INVESTO

Bayelsa State governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson came onboard on the 14th day of February, 2012. His Swearing in ceremony was a package of economic plans and policies aimed at bettering the lot of the people of the state for the present generation and for future generations. At every stage of his administration, it was his mantra to creat jobs for the masses; especially the youths who were visibly roaming the streets of the flegling state capital, Yenagoa. Besides providing employment for the increasing graduated youth population, the Restoration government was also proactive towards industrialization, education etc. The media announcements and advertizements gave high hopes and great expectation in the government on service delivery. When a whoophing sum of#10bn was announced as a take-off amount for only opening of offices in London and South Africa, just to "woo investors", every thoughtful Bayelsa reasoned that the project was a write-off. Hon. Dickson brought together some   of the egg heads of his Ijaw fathers to adminster the funds. The irony of it all, is that, the state government is yet to notify Bayelsans what benifit had accrued to the state in the #10bn deal is a billion naira begging for answers.

PROF.JEGA IN POLITICAL TIGHT CORNER.

It is not just to be alive and to seat at a quiet corner in the society and remain ambevalent or unconcerned about whatever happen in the family, this is the obvious reason that caught the attention of many Nigerians who love this country coming out and airing their views on the electoral confussion that becloud Nigeria in what we have as election  controversy today.
The leader of the INEC, Attahiru Jega has failed on his calculations to use an elctronic voting system with PVC cards and card readers that were faulted by the National Assembly as not prctically workable.
Beside this, a demonstration of the same in states and local government area including President Jonathan's home state, Baylsa has nothing tangible to show INEC prepatedness for the 2015 elections.

Between  Jonathan and Buhari, observers have said that Prof. Attahiru Jega's North has been more favoured in the distribution of  PVC'S. There are strong indications that there is another likelihood for the election to .face another postponement. Should that hapen, the INEC, boss is in a tight corner
