The Executive Secretary of the Bayelsa Pilgrims Welfare Board had exonerated the State Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson of Shying away from sponsorship of Pilgrims exercises in the state.
Rev. Bishop Belepeigha who spoke to Golden Pen Newspaper in his office in the Bayelsa state capital, Yenagoa, said it is not true that the state government had entirely pulled out of the sponsorship of intending pilgrims but rather that, philanthropic bodies, churches and patriotic citizens
