OPU NEMBE STANDS FOR POSITIVE PEACE, CALLS FOR PATRIOTISM

The Opu Nembe Bassambiri Chiefs Council had announced that the traditional Government of the ancient Community did not drive away or chase out any of their sons or daughters on exile, because the community underscores positive peace and patriotism as keys in social, community and national engineering or administration.
This was made known to the public by the Chaiman of the Chiefs Council, Chief S.D. Ben Koru while addressing a delegation of Pastors of Churches which paid a courtesy visit to the Chiefs in a meeting at the First Nembe Town Hall Saturday, 27th July 2019.
Chief Ben Koru said it was not correct for anybody to insinuate that some sons and daughters of the community who left for 'greener pastures' were drven out by the community and are on exile. Hear him:
"The Opu Nembe Bassambiri Council of Chiefs did not any day or anytime chase anybody or group out of the community or Kingdom on exile.  Instead of that the community had rather continued to ring the bell of peace, of love of one another and of unity before and after the elections and to date"
"In our community, we need the political parties to join hands with us to build peace and development and not to scatter or destroy the people and land of Opu Nembe in the name of politicking..."
The Chiefs Council Chairman who  went further to say that every law abiding patriotic citizen of the community and kingdom have no need to be afraid, because they are always welcome at home, used the  medium to call on all unpatriotic self-seeking personalities to  put the interest of the community and kingdom above their own personal interest as the way forward for peace security and prosperity at their doors
Earlier, the Opu Nembe Pastors Forum in a speech delivered by Pastor Johnbull Derock of All Saints Christ Church, said they came to appreciate the Chiefs Council for the efforts being made by them to bring total peace
whereby 'those on exile may return home and  contribute their quotas to development.'
The Pastors who observed that the OPU NEMBE BASSAMBIRI Community and Kingdom had been greatly misrepresented in many areas, noted with concern that most of the widespread allegations against the community were not true, and used the medium to call on the Chiefs Council to continue with their bold initiative on the project of peace and unity building, to which the Church body, according to the delegation, is working in partnership to achieve through prayers.

14 NIGHTS OF DIVINE JUDGEMENT

"...I and my friend, Pastor Chris went to the mountain to fast and pray for the anointing to manifest, 14 days dry fasting, but the Lord said to me, you have fasted enough, you have prayed enough, now don't fast, go back and conduct a program, "14 NIGHTS OF DIVINE JUDGEMENT'
These were the very words of the Founder/Vision Bearer of the New Divine Demonstrate Ministries NDDM Worldwide Kolo on the 30th of June 2019 during a Sunday Church Service graphically explained that for to set Israel free from Egyptian bondage God sent 10 plagues, and the 10th plague was that which broke the back bone of Egypt to let Israel go.
Rev. Justice went further to inform the congregation of the ways of the Lord saying:
" Before the LORD judges an enemy there must be petitions before Him. The LORD God Almighty does not judge without a complaint before Him, just like in the Courts of law, there is no case without a case file so we have to lay our complaints before the LORD to judge all our enemies"
He said the children of Israel suffered afflictions in the land of Egypt so much that they were no longer able to bear, so they cried unto the LORD daily for intervention and for their rescue as in the book of Exodus 3:7-8 reads:
"And the LORD said I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters: for I know their sorrows:
"And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey...."
Rev. Justice who posited that God couldn't have judged Egypt if Israel did not cry out unto Him, urged the Church to cry unto the Lord to remember them of His promises unto them and the oppression of the enemies and judge them.
He said, the heart of Pharoah was strong against releasing Israel even at the 9th plague, but when the 10th plague which was for judgement came upon the land of Egypt,Pharoah and his nobles had no other option than to bow to the All Mighty Power of God.
Pastor Justice referred the Church to the book of Exodus 12:12 reads:
"For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast:and against all the gods of Egypt. I will execute judgement, I am the LORD.
The man of God made it clear that in life, the spirit world controls the physical world and that there are unseen forces working against the destinies of humanity, subjecting people to various kinds of oppressions such as: educational oppression economic oppression, marital oppression, ministerial oppression, sicknesses and diseases, barreness, certificate thievery, job denials, abortions, miscarriages wars of deprivation of rights including untimely deaths  caused  by spiritual forces and their agents,  witches and wizards that operate in covens and kingdoms, amongst which are: the Marine, Occult, Demonic forces amongst others which Pastor Justice pointed out were and (are) the  very enemies of God and man who hold the destinies of humanity captive making it clear that war is inevitable to freedom of destinies and that the LORD GOD is a man of war as in Exodus 15:3 reads:
"The LORD is a man of war: LORD is his name."
He urged the Church not to casualise the program but to take advantage and dedicate time for it and to be ready for battle for their individual and family freedom. Pastor Justice who reminded the congregation stated that the war is not carnal but spiritual and referred to 2 Corinthians 4-5 reads:
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God pulling down strongholds) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
The NDDM Pastor (Prophet), Rev. Justice however stated that God had also directed that the 14 NIGHTS OF DIVINE JUDGEMENT program be not conducted  unilaterally, but to invite other men of God to and minister.  He quoted 1 Kings 19:15 reads:
"And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on the way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be King over Syria,:
And Jehu the son of Nimshi shall thou anoint to be King over Israel: and Elisha the son of Saphat of Abel-meholah shalt thou anoint prophet in thy room.
And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay."
To this end, Rev. Justice Aggo said some of his Pastor friends had been invited to support him in the 14 Nights Judgmental program against the enemies of the Church and it's members. After explaining to the congregation, A man of God from Lagos, Pastor Chris who was introduced to mount the pulpit assured that God no doubt will judge all the enemies of the Church, the New Divine Demonstrate Ministries [NDDM] worldwide and the members who had suffered oppression in the hands of the enemies that held the destinies of the people captive. He said the enemies of man were and are spirit beings and their agents such as: witches and wizards, demons, marine spirits, occult etc. were wicked and had the characteristic of not letting go, while doing wickedness to their victims, except they be judged by the LORD reads
"And I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go."

DR. OSAISAI OPENS GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN OFFICE BY DEDICATION

Engr. [Dr.] Franklin Osaisai
The political atmosphere in the all Ijaw oil rich Bayelsa State has reached an unprecedented dimension with myriad of aspirants declaring their intention  to contest the forth coming November 16, 2019 governorship election,
Though there are many aspirants on the list; especially of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], most of them identified by political observers as not independent, but mere surrogates sponsored by some unmentionables to swell the number of aspirants in that party to favor someone at the end of the day.
In that long list of surrogates according to observers, some do not even know their Wards or Local Government Areas, while some of them  are identified seasonal aspirants with nothing to offer to better the state.
After careful consideration of the future of the state, one of Bayelsa's illustrious sons, Engr. [Dr.]  Franklin Erepamo  Osaisai, had joined the race to get the PDP flag so as to contest the governorship of the state.
Dr. Osaisai had to that intent opened his Campaign Office, "FRESH IMPACT 2019", in the heart of the State Capital Yenagoa.
A God fearing Dr. Osaisai did not just opened the campaign office without consultations with his God, but went in humility to the House of God and prayed for divine direction before going for the opening ceremony with dedication.
Addressing his supporters and invited guests at the historic occasion, the aspirant, Dr. Franklin Osaisai has this to say:
" This is our Campaign Office, where we are going to carry out our campaign activities. I want to be the next governor of the state, few months ahead. The Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson shall be leaving office 14th February 2020, and so, there is vacancy. I picked up my nomination form last week...we were waiting to have the office dedicated...."
Dr. Osaisai said he did not just joined the race , but was burdened over a number of issues bothering Bayelsa  for which he said, he wants to save the state. Hear him:
"We have something to do to reduce the high level of poverty to checkmate crime rate in the state, that is one of the things I shall do. Another thing that needs priority attention is that Bayelsa state is in darkness and my mission is to illuminate the state. When the state is lightened up then the economy will pick up and people shall do their businesses and crimes associated with darkness shall be things of  the past,..." he declared.
The governorship aspirant of the PDP Franklin Osaisai reeled out another people oriented project thus:
"Hospitals should be built in all the eight Local Government Areas to provide affordable healthcare delivery services to promote longevity of lives, which is one of our priority targets, and Roads to connect our rural communities.."
Dr. Osaisai who also has a vision to build road to connect the Brass Local Government,Area  used the medium to announce agriculture,  transport, and security as key areas of his administration if elected.
The historic occasion which started with an opening prayer by Venerable I.A. Odibikuma, another man of God, Rev. Ndukwu Daniel .I. in his introductory speech stated as follows:
"We are gathered here for what you already know. Leadership comes from God, but some try to force their ways to hold offices. Some people in occasions like this, would brand their products elsewhere, but Osaisai did not brand his product any other place than the House of God, I have never seen such in politics...."
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Oyakeme Whiskey described Dr. Osaisai as a credible leader who need to be followed:
"I don't follow governorship aspirants any how, but only those whom I know, who love Bayelsa state. some of the aspirants do not even know their own communities, but this project is of God..."  he concluded.

BAYELSA GOVT. URGED TO UPGRADE RADIO BAYELSA

Add caption
The Bayelsa State Government led by Hon. Seriake Dickson had  kept silent over the fire disaster that occurred in the studios of the state radio  station two weeks ago
The Bayelsa State,  Radio Station, Glory FM 97.1 engulfed in flames 2nd July, 2019 which took the people of the state and the Ijaw nation by surprise.
That was not a palatable news which spread like a wild-wind  through the state capital Yenagoa, and it's environs.
And from medium to medium, the fire incident at  Radio Bayelsa was  the breaking news of the day or headline  news  which caught the  attention of concerned Bayelsans at home and abroad including me.  When I heard the news I heard no alternative than to move down to the  Radio House in earnest, and lucky for me the General Manager, Dr  John Idumange was in the office, and with him was Veteran Journalist, Publisher and Author Nengi  Owei Ilagha who's mission was the same with mine.

The General Manager while leading us through the debris said that the cause of the fire was not yet ascertained, but seeing round the so called Bayelsa State radio station, which is acclaimed as being the voice of the Ijaw nation may not be distant from being next to the poorest radio station in Nigeria if not the poorest.
A radio station built by Military Administrator Omonyi Caleb Olubolade, a Navy Captain as a stop gap measure at the pioneering stage of governance in 1997 to the broadcast sector, had continued  to be so over the years, with huge annual budgets approved by the State Government without improvement of either facilities or manpower development.
Radio Bayelsa is a sorry sight, a skeleton of a Broadcasting House which from the gate announces poverty. The 22 year old radio station could be noticed from the flooded environment through to the caravans being used as offices, which gave the impression that the State Radio station is an 'orphan' in the hands of the powers that be.
The main building housing the radio station was O.K for the state at that fledgling stage, but it is a show of shame now for our leaders who abandoned the radio station  un-cared for over the years before the fire incident.
If Radio Bayelsa is the voice of Niger Delta is every need for the present administration to take necessary steps to build a befitting radio station for the state and for the Ijaw people across the world.
Taking a closer look to it , one may be tempted to say that Bayelsa had what it takes to build a befitting edifice for radio broadcasting in the state.
